As a dedicated specialist in hip treatment, The London Hip Unit provides a wide range of facilities alongside the extensive support it offers its patients.
Blood tests and ECGs are usually taken on the premises. The results of the blood tests are usually available within 72 hours.
Both X-ray facilities and an MRI scanner are conveniently located within the same building, while further facilities, such as CT scans, are available just a few streets away at The Princess Grace hospital.
The Princess Grace Hospital
The Princess Grace Hospital is one of London’s leading private healthcare providers and provides comprehensive facilities for inpatient and outpatient care. It offers a very high standard of patient care in comfortable hospitality accredited surroundings. The hospital is registered with the Healthcare Commission and committed to meeting and exceeding regulatory requirements.
The hospital’s facilities include six fully equipped operating theatres, including two laminar flow for orthopaedic surgery, an intensive care unit, radiology, arteriography, bone densitometry, digital fluoroscopy, computer aided detection software (CADS), CT and MRI scanners and ultrasound. A gym, private treatment rooms and a Pilates studio combine to provide facilities for a variety of physical therapies.
All private rooms have en-suite facilities, a telephone, a nurse call system and a television. A Resident Medical Officer (a fully qualified doctor) is available 24 hours a day and specialist nurses assist on post and pre-operative care.
